The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to solicit competitive sealed bids from qualified companies to provide Canyons School District (CSD) with fire protection system inspection certification and system repair. It is anticipated that this RFB may result in a contract award to a single contractor for such services as defined further in RFB. This RFB is designed to provide interested companies with sufficient basic information to submit bids meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a bid's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. Proposing companies are at liberty and are encouraged to expand upon the specifications to evidence service capability under any agreement. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 3/28/2023 07:00:00 PM (ET) Contract Period: CSD intends to award a contract associated with this solicitation that will continue for one (1) year. Each bid must include an option whereby CSD, in its sole discretion, can extend the contract annually for up four (4) additional years on the same terms, prices, and conditions set forth in the bid. If the option is not exercised, then the contract shall automatically expire at the end of the contract term. Notice of exercise of the option must be given at least ninety (90) days prior to the end of the contract term. All solicitation responses must be submitted electronically through Ion Wave. The bidding Supplier must be properly licensed to do business in the State of Utah. COOP Contract Information: This solicitation is being executed by Canyons School District (CSD) which will be acting as the lead district on behalf of EdPAC (Utah State Education Purchasing Advisory Committee) Cooperative Purchasing Organization. We would like to establish an annual cooperative contract for Fire Sprinkler System Certification and Repair Services that will provide deeper discounts for the cooperative members. As required by Utah State Procurement Code 60G-6a-2015, in order to participate in any resulting contract, a school district must enter into a "Participating Addendum". Only the districts listed (see attachments) shall be eligible to participate under the contracted terms; however, it does not obligate them to make any purchases under the resulting contract. Entities outside the Salt Lake County will need to negotiate a travel/trip surcharge for this contract. Each entity has the right to negotiate T&C's to this contract.
