The Chehalem Park and Recreation District requests proposalsfrom experienced Construction Managers/General Contractorsfor the construction of the Newberg-Dundee Bypass Trail Phase1 located in Newberg, Oregon. It is the intent of the District to enter into a contract with the selected Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC). Procurement of constructionmanager/general contractor services will be done in accordance with model rules the Attorney General adopts under ORS279A.065 (model rules generally). The contract is anticipatedto have two parts: one, a fixed fee for pre-construction management and the other a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) forconstruction. CM/GCs responding to this request will be evaluated based on their qualifications, prior experience, proposedschedule and plan for completing the work, associated fees, andother relevant factors. The meetingis designed to allow Proposers an opportunity to ask questionsabout the RFP, program, schedule, and tour the site. All proposers must be registered with the Oregon ContractorsBoard prior to submitting proposals. Failure to register will besufficient cause to reject proposals as non-responsive. For thisproject, the Contractor and all subcontractors will comply withORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 relating to prevailing wage
