The two heat pumps located on the northeast corner of the 331 building are reaching end of life and needing replacement. Battelle is procuring replacement heat pumps for the two units. The scope of the project is to remove and dispose of the existing heat pump units HP-001 and HP-002. Provide hoisting and rigging crane services to lift and set the replacement units onto the existing roof curbs. Modify the existing curbs as needed to accommodate the new units. Remove and dispose of existing 2nd floor ductwork and install new ductwork for connections to the replacement units. Complete the necessary electrical and mechanical connections to the new units. Provide testing and air balance. Please see IFB for specific information regarding pre-bid/site-walk meeting, badging and PPE requirements.
