Renovation of a laboratory facility in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The Work consists of the removal of existing chiller CH-003 and replacing it with a new Battelle furnished water cooled frictionless centrifugal chiller in the 3410 Central Utility Plant. The contractor shall shut down utilities to chiller CH-003. Decommission, remove, and dispose of existing chiller CH-003, Move in, set, and install new replacement chiller #3 on existing housekeeping pad. Install and/or modify existing piping to tie into new chiller. Complete all mechanical and electrical connections. Start up and testing. Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and sub-contractors necessary to replace the 3410 chiller CH-003 with a new owner furnished 735-ton capacity unit as per attached Contract Documents. Basis of Award: Sealed Bid: Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable meeting the mandatory criteria stated below The amount of the bid guarantee shall be 20% percent of the bid price or $3,000,000, whichever is less. Project Complete ready for use, No Later Than, 7/31/2023.
