Renovation of a road / highway in Wheatland, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway.
The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Place HMA, RHMA & conc curb/sidewalk, install & modify signal systems. As of March 24, 2023, a general contractor has not yet been selected. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The Contractor must have either a Class A license or the following Class C license which constitutes a majority of the work: C-12. The Department establishes no DVBE Contract goal but encourages bidders to obtain DVBE participation. For the Federal training program, the number of trainees or apprentices is 4. Bids must be on a cost & time basis. Complete the work within the number of working days bid. Do not bid less than 95 working days and not more than 135 working days. Do not include plant establishment working days in your bid. Complete the plant establishment work within 250 working days. The estimated cost of the project is $8,400,000. The Department will receive bids until 2:00 p.m. on the bid open date via Bid Express website. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. For more information refer to the Electronic Bidding Guide at the Office Engineer's website. The Department will open and publicly read the bids through webcast/teleconference services immediately after the specified closing time.
