(N/A) (16) Description: The 9th Contracting Squadron (9 CONS) is soliciting proposals for the construction of "Project 1134627; Construct New Visitor Control Center (VCC) plus Options" The project is located at Beale Air Force Base, California approximately ten miles east of Marysville, California and thirty miles north of Sacramento, California. Currently, Beale Air Force Base does not have a Visitor Control Center. A Visitor Control Center will help the 9th Security Forces Squadron Defenders prepare and issue temporary visitor passes, vehicle passes, and Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) passes thus accelerating the current time it takes to process visitors. Defenders can also coordinate access for special events, contractors, companies, and vendors, and others that support Beale Air Force Base mission requirements. The 9th Civil Engineer Squadron and 9th Security Forces Squadron's vision is to construct a new facility dedicated to visitors and renovate the existing building to accommodate commercial vehicle inspection and drivers. This project will include masonry, plumbing, electrical, heating ventilation and air conditioning, general labors, equipment operators, framing, and other various trades. The Contractor shall furnish all design, labor, supervision, transportation, materials, testing, analysis, reports, permits, specifically air quality authority to construct permit, hauling, tools, equipment, and professional design services to accomplish all work involved as necessary to design and construct the new VCC from the ground up.
