**As of May 9, 2023, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $469,895.60** The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools and oversight necessary for the milling, including base repairs as required, overlay and striping of various asphalt pavement roadways in the Borough of Trappe and all other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Williams Way is to be paved with micro-surfacing. All work is to be completed per the contract documents and plans. Project Location: Silver Leaf Circle Williams Way Borough Line Road Trappe, PA 19426 Notice to Proceed: July 17, 2023 Substantial Completion: August 31, 2023 Liquidated damages shall apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day after substantial completion date. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. The winning bidder is responsible for PennBid costs. PA Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online and referred to the Borough of Trappe for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on portal Questions may be submitted through portal on or before 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties. The Borough of Trappe reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
