Renovation of a municipal facility in Sparks, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Generally speaking; renovate one existing hearing room to a multifunction space with own provided owner install moveable furniture. Remove and replace in kind carpet tiles where required install under carpet electrical/communications raceways. Addition of 1 door at existing walls to connect hearing room and beak room spaces, replacement of two existing doors at hearing room to comply with egress requirements. Construction of one 6" elevated platform judge's bench., surrounding half-height walls, and accessible ramp to platform Alternate 1: add additional acoustic treatments at door 70B separating existing hearing room and break room including acoustical door seal and associated hardware. Alternate 2: additional 5/8" gypsum wallboard to extend from floor to underside of existing acoustical ceiling tiles at existing wall separating hearing room form existing break room and staff room, associated finish replacements and fire rating around existing wall penetrations.
