Site Directions: The location of the work is the Harlan Municipal Well Field on the east side of Harlan, Iowa in Section 19-T79N, R-38W. The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the improvements, which consist of: Section 1 - Raw Water Mains & Electric/Fiber Conduit 1) Construction of new 10-inch, 8-inch, and 6-inch raw water main (trenched). 2) Construction of 8-inch raw water main (directionally drilled). 3) Construction of 8-inch raw water main (directionally drilled with casing). 4) Construction of new raw water mains to existing 16-inch raw water main. 5) Construction of 10-inch, 8-inch, 6-inch, and 4-inch clean out assemblies. 6) Construction of 4-inch well service lines. 7) Construction of 4" x 10", 4" x 8" and 4" x 6" WYES. 8) Construction of 4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch gate valves. 9) Well service line connections at wells. 10) Construct fittings. 11) Crushed stone paving. 12) Traffic Control. 13) Well service line televising, cleaning, and lining. 14) Construction of new 2-inch and 4-inch primary electric conduit. 15) Construction of new 2-inch secondary conduit. 16) Construction of new 1-inch, 1.25-inch. And 2-inch filter conduit. 17) Installation of Primary Hand Holes, 24"x36" Fiber Hand Holes, 3"x48" Fiber Hand Holes and Secondary Pedestal. Equipment provided by Owner. 18) Other miscellaneous work as required by the contract documents.
