Site work for a water / sewer project in Harlan, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work will include but is not limited to the following improvements: o Remove and dispose of existing media and support gravel at site designated by Owner (HMU) o Removal and disposal of media present below under drain at site designated by Owner (HMU) o Install new gravel bed and media o Inspect air wash system o If determined necessary following inspection, and following authorization of Engineer, install new air wash system o Replacement of under drain nozzles, authorized by Engineer o Disinfection of filter o Start-up services authorized by the Engineer The Owner, without invalidating the Contract, may order additional work to be done in connection with the Contract, or may alter or deduct from the work, the contract sum to be adjusted accordingly. All such work shall be executed under the conditions of the original Contract and subject to the same inspection and test as though therein included. Provided, however, that any additional, omitted or changed work shall not be ordered, undertaken or commenced until after the consent has been obtained in writing of the Contractor's surety bonds representatives, except minor changes not inconsistent with the general purpose of the Contract not involving costs or substitution of materials.
