As of May 12, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. Replace the existing 48" x 70" CMP culverts and endwalls with new 48" x 70" CMP culverts and endwalls by removing the section of the pavement, installing a temporary coffer dam and stream bypass, excavating and removing the existing culverts, installing the new culverts, installing riprap around the new culverts and stream bottom, restoring the stream banks, and restoring the road section. This project is funded by Dane County Bridge Aid. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner.
