Site work and paving for a road / highway in Columbus, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project involves but shall not be limited to saw cutting and removal of existing asphalt pavement, preparation of aggregate base, and approximately 1,166 square yards of asphalt base patching for base bid; approximately 321 square yards of asphalt base patching for mandatory alternates; work zone traffic control; and final cleanup required to complete construction. Excavation below subgrade (EBS) is not anticipated for this project. Project location includes various locations within the City of Columbus limits. Water Utility repair locations at Sunset Road, North Lewis Street, and Folsom Street have already been saw cut and backfilled with crushed aggregate base course. Work at these locations consists of removing the base course to 4-inch depth, compacting base, and paving with asphalt. Contractor on the Project shall be required to comply with the minimum wages in effect for the State of Wisconsin. Construction time is of the essence. Contractor shall perform and complete all required work on or before October 13, 2023. The City of Columbus reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. A Prebid conference will not be held.
