Description of work: Improvement of various county roadways by planing, pavement repair, overexcavation, roadway surface preparation, cleaning, sweeping, pre-leveling, applying tack coat, hot mix asphalt overlays, approach transitions and other related work. Primary bid items: Flaggers, HMA Class 3/8 In. PG 58H-22, HMA for Preleveling, HMA for Pavement Repair, Pavement Repair Excavation, Planing Bituminous Pavement. Clark County accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to bidders who fail to check for addenda and submit inadequate or incomplete bids. Questions and requests for clarification must be submitted using the electronic "CRP Inquiry Submittal Form" located on the County website. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid documents. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Bidder's company name, project title, project number, bid opening date, and "SEALED BID" clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Bids submitted by FAX or email will not be accepted. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory contract bond, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to Clark County.
