New Construction District Support Operations Center The work will be performed under a single contract with the Owner. All questions requiring additional information or clarification shall be submitted to the Architect by April 26, 2023. Bid security will be required in the amount and form defined by the Instructions to Bidders and Amendment to the Instructions to Bidders. Any proposed equal for a standard established in the bidding specifications, shall be submitted to the Architect no later than ten (10) days prior to the bid opening. The proposed equal shall be considered rejected if no Addendum is issued accepting the proposed equal. No fewer than the four apparent low bidders shall submit information per DOCUMENT AIA 305 Contractors Qualification Statement which shall include the application of any reciprocal preference for resident bidders as prescribed by 200 KAR 5:400 in determining the successful bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount not less than 100% of the contract sum (general contractor contract amount plus sum total of all direct material purchase orders). Liquidated damaged will be assessed for failure to complete the work within the time specified noted in the Project Manual. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid and to reject any and/all bids. No Bidder may modify, withdraw, or cancel his bid for sixty (60) days from the actual time and date designated for the receipt of bids.
