Renovation of an educational facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 304,000-square-foot educational facility.

The name of the party submitting a question will not be included on the Q&A document. The University of Cincinnati is seeking proposals to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for the 5 th Phase of the Muntz Hall Rehabilitation at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash Campus. The anticipated start date for the Preconstruction Services is June 2023 and the anticipated construction start date is January 2024. The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash campus consists of six buildings, totaling approximately 304,000 GSF. The oldest building, Muntz Hall was built in 1967 with a subsequent addition built in 1975. Muntz Hall is the primary classroom, faculty office and student services building on campus. Muntz Hall has a GSF of 171,425 SF, on 3 stories above grade, with a partial basement mechanical area. This phase of the overall renovation project will involve approximately 19,000 SF and is broken down as follows: Atrium- 7,160 sf, Academic Advising- 7,365 sf and Student Life- 4,384 sf. Professional design services have been acquired by the Contracting Authority under a separate contract. The Program of Requirements ("POR") has been developed as a part of this project by the Architect/Engineer ("A/E"). All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistent with the Contracting Authority and/or Owner's policies and procedures. The proposed Phase 5 work is a continuation of the renovation improvements to Muntz Hall on UC's Blue Ash College campus. This work will include the planning, design and construction of Phase 5 as it has been further defined by the ongoing Masterplan and is understood to include the following: o Atrium / student collaboration space o Advising Wing renovations o Student Life area renovations o Restroom renovations o Site improvements from the east parking lot to the north entrance o Improvements to some spaces adjacent to the atrium as required for egress, storage and mechanical and fire protection systems modifications. EDGE Participation Goal Percent of the CM's total compensation excluding CM's Contingency* 10.0%
