The proposed improvement consists of HMA surface removal; curb and gutter removal & replacement; pavement removal & replacement; structure adjustments & replacement; HMA surface course replacement; pavement markings; topsoil & sod; parkway restoration and all appurtenant construction on Oakwood Avenue - 87th Street to Prospect Avenue - Maple Avenue - 87th Street Prospect Avenue and Hess Avenue - German Church Road to Wolf Road. All applicable work will be in conformance with the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", dated January 1, 2023. Proposal forms are non-transferable Only those Proposals that have been obtained from, and with the approval of, Novotny Engineering will be accepted a bid opening. C. Only qualified Contractors who can furnish satisfactory proof that they have performed work of similar nature as Contractors will be entitled to receive Bid Documents and submit Proposals. To meet this requirement, at the request of the Engineer, bidders will be required to submit a "Statement of Experience" consisting of a list of previous projects of similar nature in order to receive Bid Documents. The Owner reserves the right to issue Bid Documents on those Contractors deemed qualified. No Bid may be withdrawn after opening of Proposals without t consent of the Owner for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of opening of Bids. The Contract will be required to pay Prevailing Wages in accordance with all applicable laws. IV. REJECTION OF BIDS: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive technicalities, and to accept the Proposal deemed to be most favorable to the Owner.
