The City of Provo, Utah, is seeking statements of proposals from real estate developers/development teams to lead the redevelopment of a 2.9-acre site into a dynamic mixed-use project that will serve as a vibrant addition to Provo’s Center Street. The City owns the redevelopment parcel where the former city hall was located. The City intends to use local redevelopment tools, if necessary, to assist with project financing as the property is within an existing redevelopment project area. Responses to this request for proposals will be used as part of a multi-phase selection process. The request for proposals is intended to solicit respondents who may then be invited to submit presentations for the project development, design, construction, financing, ownership, and management City of Provo’s goals for the project, specifications and terms of the project, RFP submission requirements, and evaluation and selection criteria. Any submittal may be withdrawn by written notice to the City of Provo any time prior to the date and time specified for submittal. Such notice of withdrawal shall be in writing to the designated contact individual. Any respondent may modify their proposal by email communication to the contact individual prior to the date and time specified as the deadline. . Public Information All information submitted in response to this RFP may be made available for public inspection according to public records laws of the State of Utah. Process & Right to Reject At any phase, the City reserves the right to terminate, suspend, or modify this selection process; reject any or all proposals; and to negotiate the terms of the project development stage with the selected proposer(s).
