Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Longmont, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This Project includes replacement of the Bowen Street bridge with a larger structure that would pass 100 year storm flows and facilitate a pedestrian underpass along the Left Hand greenway trail. The project will include lowering a 12 inch diameter water line and approximately 150 feet of 24 inch diameter RCP storm pipe and two outfalls. This project does not include any channel excavation or restoration. Associated channel improvements would be completed within CIP# DRN041. As of September 23, 2024, this project is in the City of Longmont's Capital Budget FY 2024 - 2028 CIP. Information regarding a design firm or detailed timeline for construction have not been established, but funding is allotted for FY 2024-2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
