Construction, Electrical and Controls State Project Number 02BC0040 Upgrade Steam Boiler System at the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) in St. Paul A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, Temperature Controls, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Retrofit four boilers (2 steam and 2 hot water) with new linkage less burner controls. At least (1) hot water boiler must always remain operational. 2. Update controls on hot water boilers.. 3. Replace existing gravity flow condensate return with new N+1 pump system. Pour pad below new system. 4. Replace (2) steam/glycol heat exchangers. 5. Install VFDs on existing burner fan motors. Due to current lead-times of VFD's, a second mobilization may be required. 6. Seal joints in concrete boiler feed pump system basin. Add new stainless steel pan. Location- 1430 Maryland Ave. E., St Paul, MN 55106 All questions should be submitted no later than April 13th at 2pm CST. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the question due date and time. A. The project shall be substantially complete no later than December 31, 2023 B.
