Sanitary Sewer (Gravity), Sewer and Water Construction, Water Utilities, Street/Roadway Reconstruction , Utility Street Construction and Excavation In general, the project consists of: Pine Street - The total construction of approximately 500 LF of urban street. The project includes sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer along with breaker run, base course, curb and gutter, and asphalt pavement. Concrete culverts will be installed under Pine Street to convey a drainage swale. The undersigned agrees, if awarded the contract, to start work after "Notice to Proceed" and to substantially complete the work on or before September 15, 2023. There are interim dates of items to be completed as follows: Water main and sanitary sewer shall be in place by May 19, 2023. Roadway base course to be placed no later than July 1, 2023. Failure to substantially complete the work within the stated time will result in liquidated damages of $1000 per calendar day thereafter until substantial completion. No binding interpretation of the meaning or intent of the drawings, specifications, or other bidding documents will be made to any bidder orally. Requests for such interpretation shall be made to Ayres in writing. Requests received less than 7 days prior to the Bid Deadline may not be answered. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by A/E in response to such requests will be issued by addenda via QuestCDN.com to all parties recorded as having downloaded the bidding documents. All addenda so issued shall become part of the bidding documents and shall be acknowledged with the bid. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under this bid as submitted. B.
