Renovation of a detention facility in Agassiz, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
This is a maximum security institution. Work generally includes: Replacement of an existing fire alarm system for a multi-building site. Conversion of inmate cells from smoke detection system to aspirating smoke detection system. Fibre-optic backbone network for the fire alarm system. Modifications to the sprinkler valves in two inmate living units. Conversion of two rooms from standard sprinkler protection to pre-action sprinkler protection. There is a limited amount of misc non-electrical/mechanical items of work including drywall and painting.
