The new building expands the footprint of the store and improves site circulation. The new building is constructed of load bearing masonry walls with wood roof trusses. The scope of the façade improvement project is to install wood furring, insulation, sheathing, and a combination of fibercement and manufactured stone masonry as indicated on the drawing. Load bearing masonry walls have been constructed on site. Doors, windows, soffit, and roofing will be installed by the building general contractor with installation coordinated around this façade package. The Façade contractor will need to coordinate flashing at roofs, windows, and doors with building general contractor. Please see the attached drawing A1 and technical specifications identifying exterior finishes as well as the typical wall section showing wood furring, insulation, sheathing, and siding to be installed as part of this project.
