Check back in a couple of weeks.** The Project includes the following Work: The work consists of the replacement of existing 1, 1.5, and 6 water main with the construction of approximately 100 LF of 4 PVC water main, 3,480 LF of 6 PVC water main, and 1,250 LF of 8 PVC water main conventionally installed, and approximately, 250 LF of 6 FPVC water main installed via directional drill, the replacement and reconnection of approximately 30 water services; along with associated valves, fittings, fire hydrants, and connections. The additive alternate, which includes additional water main replacements, may be included in the project based on the available budget. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. To be considered qualified, Bidder must be licensed to engage in the business of contracting in the State of Florida by the Construction Industry Licensing Board and shall have successfully completed, as prime contractor, a minimum of three (3) projects of a similar nature involving water main installation within the past three (3) years each having a minimum contract value of $250,000, with at least on project having a contract value in excess of $500,000. In addition, the Bidder or listed Subcontractor shall have completed a minimum of ten (10) directional drills with 6 fusible PVC in excess of 500 LF using electrical wireline guidance systems.
