**As of May 26, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. ** Items of work include removals, site preparation and grading, soil erosion measures, new concrete trails to provide Universally Accessible access to the park, reconstructed timber path, mobi-mat sections in portions of the pathway, aggregate parking areas, prefabricated vault toilet, pavilion, wood split rail fencing, parking area lighting, concrete sidewalk, concrete bumper blocks, beach grass planting and all related work. Bid alternate items include a full flush prefabricated restroom, drain field and well. Prospective Bidders may request the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The project is funded by Michigan DNR Trust Fund Program, relevant state and federal requirements apply. The contractor and all subcontractors must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act), the 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), and Executive Directive 219-09, as amended.
