All questions shall be submitted in writing to the JEA Buyer listed below at least three (3) business days prior to the Bid opening date. Questions not received three (3) days prior to the Bid opening date will not be answered. For All Questions: Buyer: Jason Behr Email: behrjv@jea.com JEA requires the replacement of aging Potential Devices at multiple substations. Contractor scope of work is to remove and install PTs/CVTs and any other associated work such as new fuse boxes, control cables, and conduits. The following is a general representation of a possible Sequence of Work, provided only as an example of one such possible sequence. The Contractor shall be responsible for all work coordination, timing, sequencing, and scheduling that is necessary to assure timely project completion even while working with material suppliers and prevailing circumstances (labor, weather, etc.) that could be expected for this locale and time of year. 1. Contractor Mobilization 2. Pick up materials from JEA storeroom. 3. Allow potential devices to remain upright for at least 24 hours prior to JEA testing. 4. Remove PDs, fuse boxes, jumpers, conduits, and cables as required. 5. Install new PDs, fuse boxes, conduits, and cables, as required. Reinstall jumpers. 6. Terminate control cables only at the equipment side and yard panel. Do not terminate inside the relay panels. JEA personnel will terminate inside the relay panels. 7. JEA O&M wiring, testing, walkdown, and commissioning. 8. Site Clean-up and disposal of trash. Old Potential Devices shall be transported to JEA's West Side Service Center for disposal. 9. Repeat for the next PD replacement. 10. Remobilize to next substation site
