Site work for a mixed-use development in Grantsville, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Maryland Environmental Service is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified Contractors to provide site preparation, sediment control, drilling, construction of two, new, supply wells at the New Germany State Park, and testing both wells using contractor supplied temporary pumps, drop pipes, power generator and temporary supplies and accessories. Questions Due Date: May 2nd 2023, 1:00 PM EDT Intent to Bid Due Date: May 17th 2023, 1:00 PM EDT Bidders having questions and inquiries regarding either the technical or the procurement sections of the bid documents shall be sent though MES Procurement Portal. The project includes site preparation, sediment control, drilling, construction of two, new, supply wells at the New Germany State Park, and testing both wells using contractor supplied temporary pumps, drop pipes, power generator and temporary supplies and accessories. These new wells are not intended for simultaneous operation and will be set-up as redundant water sources. Installation of permanent pumps, pitless adapter, column/drop pipes, and raw water piping to the two facilities will be performed under a separate future contract.
