The City of Long Beach (City) is requesting proposals from qualified and professional firms, teams, and/or individuals to provide on-call consulting services for a variety of projects in the City's adopted Capital Improvement Program (CIP) on an as-needed basis specializing in the following disciplines: o Architectural o Landscape Architectural o Urban Design Upon direction by the City, the selected as-needed professional firms will support projects within these programs that vary in scope, size, and type including Job Order Contracting (JOC) and multi-million-dollar facilities and civil improvements. Funded CIP projects may include, but will not be limited to: new construction and tenant improvements to buildings, parking structures/lots, public restrooms, police and fire facilities, bluff areas, lifeguard stations, libraries, health centers, convention center and sports arena, parks and recreation facilities including: public pools, playgrounds, beaches and marinas, recreational and/or commercial harbor areas, rehabilitation of wetlands, and energy efficiency infrastructure, such as: electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, solar panels, and battery storage. The City reserves the right to modify these dates at any time, with appropriate notice to prospective contractors. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
