The work involved will include the following: Schedule I Construct 50x50 Helipads Schedule II Flood Lights Installation of Bid Alternate I-Construction 90 x90 Helipads Some of the major hid items involved in the proposed work are: subgrade preparation, aggre gate base course, cement concrete pavement, and install 6-inch per forated polyethylene underdrain pipe. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such hid pro posal. Should the successful bid- der fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory per formance bond, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. Bonds submitted on other than the bond form provided by the department may be subject to rejection. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate per- formance and payment bonds each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Construction for this project is expected to take 35 calendar days. BASIS FOR BID PREPARATION ($500,000 to $1,000,000) *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
