The itemized list of work items will be detailed in the full solicitation packet. Location and Facilities: Thorne Bay Ranger District compound is located at 1312 Federal Way, Thorne Bay, AK 99919. Thorne Bay is located on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska and is accessible by the Inter-Island Ferry Authority from Ketchikan, or air service from Ketchikan. The selection process, and evaluation criteria to be addressed, will be outlined in the forthcoming solicitation. The Government intends to award without discussions, however, reserves the right to conduct discussions should it be deemed in the Government's best interest. One Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract will be awarded. The contract period of performance will be approximately July 2023 - September 2024. The magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All offerors will be required to provide a Bid Bond (20%) with their proposal submission. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies, and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract to finished standards. The contractor shall ensure compliance with all Federal, State and local environmental regulations. 2. The contractor shall provide material safety data sheets (MSDS) for all hazardous materials used on the job site. The contractor shall not dispose of any hazardous materials/waste in any trash receptacle, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, or dispose of hazardous materials/waste by any other means on government property without authorization from the government. The contractor shall immediately contain, cleanup and report all spills or release of hazardous materials, including all motor vehicle fuels, motor oil, anti-freeze, and hydraulic fluid. 3. All materials shall be asbestos free, and all paint shall be lead free. 4. Contractor shall verify all dimensions and materials required prior to ordering.
