Renovation of a fire / police facility in Burbank, California. Design plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Police/Fire Headquarters (Fire Station 11) has Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment that is at the end of its serviceable life and must be replaced. The building levels (especially the basement level) cannot stay cool when outdoor temperatures exceed approximately 80 degrees. This project will include system design, engineering, and construction. Funding will allow the replacement of some equipment to extend the service life of the HVAC equipment until the larger overall replacement project can be funded. This project is included in the City of Burbank's FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of May 23, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated in 2023.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
