DESCRIPTION The Port of Vancouver is seeking written quotes to provide materials, equipment, and labor to inspect and perform maintenance and repairs at the port's flushing channel located on NW Lower River Road (SR501). See RFP for full scope of work Questions must be submitted via the Port's ProcureWare system no later than Thursday April 27, 2023, 2:00 P.M. Pacific Time Inspect cables in sluice gate and flap gate vault. Inspect sluice gates and flap gates for obstructions. Remove obstructions much as possible. Inspect the bottom of vault for debris. Remove debris as much as possible. Inspect flap gate pivot points. Inspect flap gate and sluice gate connections to concrete wall. Tighten as required. Video all inspections Inspect riverside grates for connections. Tighten, as necessary. Inspect riverside grates for debris and obstructions. Remove as much as possible. Condition assessment of riverside grates and any internal blockages Lakeside inspection of outlet pipes into Vancouver Lake for blockage Confirm pipe diameters at riverside inlet and lakeside outlet. If any blockage is confirmed at the outlet pipes, provide recommendations on a method to remove the blockage. Port crews will be available as necessary (7:15 A.M. to 2:45 P.M.
