Supply labor, equipment, materials and supplies to perform the required work as shown on the construction plans for MSB project number 19-25-4852. Contractor is to provide resources to complete this project without any adjustments in the original bid amount or contract time. Contractor shall coordinate the road improvements with all utility relocation work. Request locates from the utilities having facilities in the area. Use the Alaska Digline, Inc. Locate Call Center. See Section 105-1.06 for digline number and a list of utility companies in the area. Anticipated Relocation are the Enstar Gas line within the excavation limits of the ditch. Relocation drawing are attached for contractors to coordinate with Enstar. Work Zone speed limit: Limit speed of vehicles associated with construction to 20 miles per hour within project limits. Normal work time will be between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Extensions will be considered and approved by the MSB Inspector. Time is of the essence. The Contractor shall substantially complete the work by 9/30/2023 with Final Completion set at 12/15/2023. Estimated project magnitude is under $100,000. This project will upgrade and increase the capacity of the existing drainage ditch and will flatten drainage ditch back-slope to improve sight distance at the intersection. This work will involve, but is not limited to, 2,500 SF Clearing and Grubbing, 144 CY Unclassified Excavation, and 100 CY Ditch Lining.
