Site work and renovation of a detention facility in Wasilla, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Department of Corrections is soliciting bids for sealed bids to relocate four (4) each 4-Plex (4P) housing units from Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER) in Anchorage, Alaska to Point Mackenzie Correctional Farm (PMCF) in Wasilla, Alaska as described within Section 01000 of the ITB. Individuals with disability, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services and/or special modifications to submit a bid/proposal should contact the procurement section listed above or the TTD number (907) 465-3274, no later than 5 days prior to the submittal date to make necessary arrangements. The Engineer's Estimate is around $400,000 - $500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Questions pertaining to the project requirement and specifications should be in writing and received by the procurement officer no later than close of business June 23, 2023, to allow adequate time for the issuance of an addendum; if needed The contract amount for basic Bid is $480,000.00. The substantial completion date for this project is August 15, 2023 for Unit 1 & 2 and September 15, 2023 for Unit 3 & 4. The final completion date is September 30, 2023
