The Project includes partial removal of existing lift station wet well, dry well, and site features, as well as the rehabilitation and reconstruction of a new submersible lift station and valve vault, including site concrete and utilities. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Grand Haven will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. A 100% Labor, Material, and Performance Bond will be required of successful bidder. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening without consent of the OWNER. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality in bidding or to accept the bid, consistent with law, which best serves the interest of the Owner.
