Cut off for Questions: 5:00 PM, May 10, 2023 The Addison Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for Lake Manor Nature Preserve Improvements. Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, asphalt paving, concrete curbs, walks and paving, site furnishings, signage, playfield equipment, planting and seeding, stone masonry, wood carpentry, and subdrainage. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Addison Park District. The successful bidder, as determined by the Addison Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Addison Park District (DuPage County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor, and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Addison Park District, certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month.
