Renovation of an educational facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project is a Site Modernization and Improvements of the Hoover High School Campus. The scope includes: 1) Demolition and replacement of the surface and structure supporting elevated walkways and bridges around the center of campus. These are wood structures with concrete topping slabs. This scope also includes waterproofing, parapet walls, plaster, etc. 2) Complete replacement of the campus's IT infrastructure. This will include relocation of IDF rooms, new IDF rooms, HVAC / plumbing to support new rooms, removal of existing IT cabling, re-pulling of new cabling, and a temporary system to be put in-place during the changeover. This will also require interior work / demolition and replacement of finishes to allow for installation of the plumbing / electrical / data. 3) Cleaning of buildings, removal of conduits / piping, repairs, enhancements of exterior finishes such as concrete, plaster, glazing. Re-painting of the of approximately (18) existing buildings added canopies, overhangs, and door surrounds. 4) A complete signage campus building signage update. 5) Demolition of a slab, excavation, backfill, new storm drain, waterproofing of a retaining wall. Estimated Bid Value $17,000,000 and $18,500.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
