Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Independence, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
Complete all necessary permits and inspections necessary to complete work to current code. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services for all performed work. Grayson County will provide the premanufactured building and propane tank. The Contractor will provide all components and equipment required to perform site preparation, install reinforced concrete pad for building and for propane tank. Each pad will be manufactured with hold-down anchors to secure building and tank. Furnish and install gas lines from propane tank to emergency generator. Remove and replace chain link perimeter fence as necessary to facilitate project Any questions regarding specifications please direct to the Grayson County Emergency Services Coordinator, Paul Hoyle. For any Contract for construction, the amount of which exceeds $500,000, the Contractor shall furnish to the County the bonds required under Sections 2.2-4336 and 2.2-4337 of the Code and shall otherwise fully comply with the requirements of such sections of the Code. The County reserves the right to require payment and/or performance bonds in the amount of the Contract for any other Contracts, whether or not required by such sections of the Code.
