The Town of Sanford will receive sealed bids. Such bids will be discussed at a meeting of the Town Board at 7:00 PM on May 9, 2023, at Town Hall, 91 Second Street, Deposit, NY 13754, for the following public works project: Replacement of the Sanford Town Hall roof and associated components (i.e. soffits, fascia, siding, gutters, ceiling insulation). Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked "BID FOR TOWN HALL ROOF" and indicating on the envelope the name of the bidder. Bids will not be accepted via fax or e-mail. The specifications are to be considered minimum requirements and any alternates, substitutions to, or deviations from, the specifications must be clearly stated on a separate page submitted with the bid. Each bid shall be binding for sixty (60) days following the bid opening date. All bids must be accompanied by a certificate executed pursuant to section 103-d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. These certificates can be obtained from the Town Clerk's Office. Bids may be withdrawn by certified mail request from the bidder prior to the time fixed for the bid opening. Negligence on the part of the bidder in preparing the bid confers no right for the withdrawal of the bid after it has been opened. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time set for the bid opening. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality in the bids received when such a waiver is in the best interest of the Town. The Town further reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
