Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Independence, Missouri. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project provides for, but is not limited to, bridge and roadway improvements, sidewalks and stripping, and all appurtenant work for the completion of the project Crysler Avenue Bridge Improvements. The contract provides for, but is not limited to, bridge repair, bridge redecking, barrier rail and fence, sidewalk, paving, thermoplastic pavement striping, temporary traffic control, and all appurtenant work for the completion of the project as shown on the exhibits and outlined in the specifications including all necessary equipment, labor, materials and supplies required. The count of calendar days will begin on the date the contractor starts any construction operations on the project. ENCLOSED is bidder's bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total cost of the construction shown in the Proposal. The contractor shall provide, as stipulated in this ITB, a payment, performance, and maintenance bond for faithful performance of the contract and for persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection therewith, with sureties satisfactory to the City and in the form provided. This bond shall be in the full amount of the contract and shall have as surety thereon a company authorized to do business in the State of Missouri, qualified as acceptable surety for United States government deposits, and acceptable to the City.
