Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lathrop, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,700-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The City of Lathrop invites sealed bids for the construction of public improvements for the Corporation Yard Improvements- Property & Evidence Warehouse, CIP GG 21-13, City of Lathrop, California. The work to be performed under this contract is generally described as, but not necessarily limited to the construction of a 7,700 square foot CMU-walled building for the storage of evidence and recovered property under the purview of Lathrop Police Department. All work under this contract will be subject to the Community Workforce and Training Agreement (CWTA) attached as Attachment A to these bid specifications. The awarded Contractor will be required to be bound by the terms of the CWTA with the City of Lathrop and the San Joaquin Building and Construction Trades Council, and abide by all requirements as set forth in the CWTA. DIR Registration. Each Bidder submitting a proposal to complete the work, labor, materials and/or services (Work) subject to this procurement must be a Department of Industrial Relations registered contractor pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5 (DIR Registered Contractor). A Bidder who is not a DIR Registered Contractor when submitting a proposal for Work is deemed not qualified and the proposal of such a Bidder will be rejected for non-responsiveness. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, all Subcontractors identified in a Bidders Subcontractors List shall be DIR Registered Contractors. If awarded the Contract for the Work, at all times during performance of the Work, the Bidder and all Subcontractors, of any tier, shall be DIR Registered Contractors.
