The District is seeking bids to repair and resurface approximately 19,000 square yards of road at Richland Chambers Compound in Streetman, TX. This shall be a turnkey project. Richland Chambers road pavement has numerous potholes and surface cracking. Contractor shall have a minimum of 10 years experience on similar projects. This shall be a turnkey project. 2. LOCATION OF WORK 140 F.M. 416 Streetman, TX 75859 SCOPE OF REPAIRS a. Potholes/Loose Asphalt i. All potholes/loose asphalt shall be cleaned of loose material. ii. Saw cut to TxDOT standard specifications. iii. Excavated to a depth of 18". iv. Subgrade compacted to at least 95% of the maximum dry density as per ASTM D 698. v. Filled with flexbase that meets TxDOT standard specification item 247 type A grade #1 or #2 which is compacted to 95% of the dry maximum density. vi. Compacted flexbase should be at least 3" below surrounding asphalt grade. b. Surface Cracks i. All surface cracks shall be filled with suitable flowable road filler to seal cracks. ii. Material used shall meet TxDOT standard specifications. c.
