The principal items for which proposals are invited are: Traffic Control and Access 1 LS Furnishing and Installation of Silt Fence 175 LF Unclassified Excavation and Clearing 1 LS Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Super-Structure 1 LS Design and Fabrication of Bridge Super-Structure 1 LS Furnishing and Installation of Bridge Super-Structure 1 LS Removal and Replacement of Steel Plate Beam Guard 60 LF Furnishing and Placement of 4-Inch Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement 65 TN Furnishing and Placement of 8-Inch Base Aggregate Dense, 1-1/4-Inch 45 CY Furnishing and Installation of Soil Reinforcing Fabric 180 SY Furnishing and Placement of Medium Riprap 5 CY Furnishing and Placement of Non-Channel Erosion Mat 130 SY This project is the removal and replacement of a single span steel girders bridge with reinforced concrete deck over a creek in the Town of Farmington, having about 15 ft span and 22 ft width. Replacement bridge is to be built on existing abutments. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered
