Site work for a water / sewer project in Columbus, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of April 9, 2024, This project has been awarded to Norcon Corporation, with the awarded amount of $158,400.80.** Project involves demolition of existing clarifier deck system and application of drainage system with new deck. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. Columbus Utilities reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. To demonstrate Bidders qualifications to perform the Work, within five (5) days of Owners request, Bidder shall submit written evidence establishing its qualifications. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Columbus Utilities equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Columbus Utilities as liquidated damages. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
