Project Description: Lassen Municipal Utility District is seeking a lump-sum bid by qualified bidders to remove a burned, abandoned, deenergized 3-phase (3 wire) electric distribution line approximately 6.5 miles in total. The burned line crosses Brockman Flat Lava Beds, located south of the community of Spalding on the western shore of Eagle Lake in Lassen County, CA. The line is owned by LMUD and is located on U.S. Forest Service Federal Land (Lassen National Forest, Eagle Lake Ranger District, Lassen County). All bids must include prevailing wage labor rates with a statement that all labor rates comply with State of California prevailing wage standards. A State Contractor's License is required to bid on this project. Standard Commercial General Contractor's Liability insurance is also required.
