The work for which proposals are invited will consist of providing and placing a precast concrete 4-sided box. Each bidder shall be required to file with his bid a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of his bid, or a bid bond for the full amount of his bid, payable to the Crawford County Commissioners. The successful bidder shall furnish an approved Performance Bond for the full and faithful performance of the contract, in a penal sum of one-hundred percent (100%) of the base amount of the contract. The bond shall be a corporate surety bond furnished by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio. Crawford County shall be named as obligee on the Performance Bond. The construction cost of this project is estimated at $ 108,500.00
