Submit Written Questions Vendor May 11, 2023, by 2:00pm Contractor to provide necessary labor, equipment, materials, and insurance to perform the work as requested. Demolish and remove existing asphalt driveway and parking area and legally dispose of off-site. Perform grading of site area in preparation for new asphalt. Undercut and/or backfill unsuitable soils as necessary. Place new crushed stone base in preparation for new asphalt. Lay new asphalt and machine roll to a smooth finish, in compliance with the requirements of the NC DOT Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures. Ensure finished pavement provides smooth transition from highway to parking lot. Contractor to provide one-year warranty on all workmanship and standard warranty on materials as per manufacturer specification. Furnish, install, maintain, and remove traffic control devices, temporary fencing, signage, and/or other measures necessary for jobsite safety. Provide appropriate and satisfactory Personal Protective Equipment for all workers. Project is to be completed within 60 calendar days after the issuance of a purchase order. Total time to complete project must not exceed 14 calendar days.
