The Pond Union School District seeks qualified modular building suppliers to provide and install a 36x40 Modular Classroom building. The awarded bidder will work with the architect and provide plans and specifications for DSA approval. Once the project is approved, the modular building supplier will supply and install the modular building in coordination with the site development contractor. Contractor/Supplier to supply (36'x40') modular building to Owner for future installation. Selected Contractor/Supplier shall coordinate with Architect for further approval of modular building from all legal agencies (DSA, City, etc.) and install the building at a later date. The lowest bid shall be determined on the amount of the base bid. Time is of the essence in this Contract, and the time of Completion for the Work ("the Contract Time") shall be 180 calendar days from (a) the date of commencement of the project as established in the Owner's Notice to Proceed, or (b) if no other date is established in a Notice to Proceed from Owner, the date of Contractor / Supplier actual commencement of the Work (including mobilization). The successful bidder will be allowed to substitute securities or establish an escrow in lieu of retainage, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity and to reject any or all bids.
