This project includes the preparation and painting of 61 existing streetscape light poles in the City of Newton Central Business District. Contractors submitting quotations pursuant to this RFQ shall be required to commit to the execution of a contract for the work in the form required by the City. Contractors submitting quotations pursuant to this RFQ shall be required to commit to the completion of the work on or before October 31, 2023. performance Bond Required. The contractor who is awarded the contract to perform the work shall be required to provide a performance bond to secure the timely completion of the work. Execution of Contract Upon Acceptance and Approval of Performance and Payment Bond and Evidence of Insurance The City of Newton does hereby reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the jurisdiction.
