Service Provider shall provide As-Needed Public Comfort Stations and Drinking Fountains Janitorial Maintenance Services at the San Diego Unified Port District (District) facilities and properties within the Cities of San Diego, Coronado, National City, Chula Vista, and Imperial Beach. As-Needed Public Comfort Stations and Drinking Fountain Janitorial Maintenance Services main purposes: a) To maintain comfort stations and drinking fountains in a clean, disinfected, and sanitized manner. b) To clean and maintain comfort stations and drinking fountains and to replenish toilet paper, paper towel, and hand soap in dispensers. c) Minor janitorial maintenance to include restroom cleaning, unclogging toilets, sweeping/cleaning 10’ around perimeter, mopping, trash disposal and debris removal. d) To respond to any emergency clean-up situations such as spills, leaks, clogs, biohazards (human waste), and unexpected incidents. Comfort stations are standalone facilities with women’s and men’s restrooms separated by a wall, they may contain toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, doors, showers, baby changing stations, etc. Comfort stations and drinking fountains are open to the public every day from 6:00am – 10:30pm, with higher usage in the summer months (May – September). No on-site storage will be provided for Service Provider owned supplies, materials, or equipment. Storage shall be the responsibility of the Service Provider. Drinking fountains may be located near the comfort stations and around the parks and open spaces.
