The Town of Dracut is seeking quotes from qualified contractors pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30, 39M for all labor and materials required to install a concrete slab according to the specifications. Wages are subject to minimum wages rates determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Industries pursuant to M.G.L. c.149, 26 to 27H. This project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project. Consists of and includes removal and disposal of grass and soil, forming and pouring Fitness Court slab as more specifically described in the construction documents. This work must be completed by July 14, 2023. The award of the contract is pending Town Meeting approval. The Town Meeting is on June 5, 2023. It is the intent of the Town of Dracut to award a contract for a complete concrete slab to be
installed at Veteran's Memorial Park. The work under this contract shall include installation and site-work as
required to install a concrete slab for a Fitness Court(R) designed by National Fitness Campaign (NFC) for the
Town of Dracut. The concrete slab should follow all specifications and dimensions set forth by NFC. A
complete set of construction documents is included and required to be followed. This is for the installation of
concrete slab only, installation/assembly of the Outdoor Fitness Court(R) equipment by others under a

NFC Outdoor Fitness Court Concrete slab requirements:
o 38' x 38' poured concrete slab per detail **
o 4" poured concrete depth per detail **
o 4" of compacted gravel per detail **
o 1% slope of concrete perpendicular away from training wall location per detail**
o Light broom finish**
o Concrete slab to be 4,000 PSI for full 28-day cure time**
o Welded Wire Mesh (WWM) reinforcements per detail**(Rebar not required)
o 3' wide poured concrete sidewalk to connect existing adjacent pathway to new
Fitness Court slab.
o All lumber, framework and tools needed for project.
o All site prep, grass removal, soil, gravel, grading, restoration, compaction needed for
project.
o Temporary construction fence to remain up for duration of the project
